The "X 30" series, are made of paintings (gouache on paper) resulting from simple rules within the reach of anyone.
Lines of 30 cm are drawn randomly on the plane of the image ; subsequently, they are joined together by other lines, being this union also random. The lines with 30 cm are painted with cobalt blue, the union with cadmium red. The detached observation and critique of the final result is only performed when the object is completed.
On the resulting compositions we can observe their aesthetic effects: the way the lines seem to hover in space, creating implicit movement; the way the plans created by the observation of negative spaces, relate with each other; the possible observation of the composition as a three dimensional structure.
